The Youth Center Tivat conducted the first story in the new series “Talking with Aca,” featuring Sara Vraneš, a scholarship holder of the Municipality of Tivat and a first-year student at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics at the University of Ljubljana.

Sara Vraneš was born on September 8, 2006, in Pljevlja. She spent her childhood in Čajniče and continued her schooling in Tivat, where she completed both elementary and high school with excellent results and earned the “Luča” diploma. During her studies, she also stood out in literary creativity, participating in numerous competitions and publishing a poetry collection titled “Mirror,” with support from the Municipality of Tivat.

In the conversation, led by Aleksandar Zejak, the coordinator of the Youth Center Tivat band, Sara talked about her experience studying in Slovenia, the challenges of adapting to a new environment, learning the language, student life, as well as the importance of the support the local community provides to young people through scholarships and various programs.

This interview marks the start of the series “Chatting with Aco,” through which the Youth Center will introduce successful young people from Tivat who are studying and developing their skills in Montenegro and abroad. The goal of the series is to bring young people closer to the experiences of their peers, encourage them to invest in their education, and show that effort, hard work, and dedication are recognized and appreciated. We invite all students from Tivat who want to share their story to reach out to us. We want to showcase together their universities, the cities they study in, experiences, challenges, and advice that could be valuable to future generations of high school graduates. The full interview with Sara Vraneš is available on the Youth Center Tivat Studio YouTube channel, while the most interesting parts of the conversation have been shared on the Youth Center’s social media.
