Mapping Safe Routes to School

As part of this year’s European Mobility Week, NGO “Our action” and the Tivat Youth Team, in close collaboration with students and teachers from “Mladost” High School, launched an important field initiative to map school routes.

The main goal is to identify high-risk traffic zones, poorly lit pedestrian crossings, and hazardous paths that young people navigate daily. The data collected and analyzed by youth will be compiled and presented to local municipal authorities alongside concrete infrastructure recommendations aimed at significantly enhancing pedestrian and cyclist safety for students across Tivat.
