This year, Tivat will be represented at the big finale of the ‘Rhythm of Europe’ festival in Kolašin by the young band Outskirts, who will take the stage under the flag of Romania and perform the song ‘Choke Me’ by the artist Alexandra Căpitănescu.
Representatives from Tivat participated last weekend in the second bootcamp of ‘Rhythm of Europe,’ held from September 18 to 20 in Kolašin, the Tivat Youth Center announced. Participants from 13 Montenegrin towns went through intensive vocal and dance rehearsals, work on choreography, stage performance and visual identity, as well as preparations for the big TV spectacle.
A special moment of the second bootcamp was the ceremonial draw of the performance order, held at the Fighters’ Square in Kolašin. The draw decided that Tivat would perform in 9th position, representing Romania. The song ‘Choke Me’ by Alexandra Căpitănescu represented Romania at this year’s Eurovision and took third place. The band stayed in Kolašin accompanied by the project coordinator for Tivat, Irena Barac from the Youth Center and the secretary of the Municipal Secretariat for Social Affairs, Olivera Mišković Vidojević. Our young people from Tivat are now in the final stage of preparations. The grand finale of “Rhythm of Europe” will be held at the end of October in Kolašin, when 13 Montenegrin cities will represent the countries assigned to them through music, dance, and stage performance. For Tivat, this is more than just another musical performance – it’s an opportunity for our young talents to showcase their work, energy, creativity, and talent in front of a large television audience. And when it’s time to vote, the people of Tivat will have an important role! Voting will open five days before the grand finale, and our fellow citizens will be informed in advance about all the details and how to vote. So already remember well, the Youth Center advises: TIVAT OUTSKIRTS ROMANIA NUMBER 9 “CHOKE ME”.
